The A8V has two separate SATA controllers -- VIA and Promise. I wondered if anyone knows if it is possible to set up a RAID 0+1 array with 4 identical SATA drives?
The Asus homepage (and every review and shop on t'Internet) mentions RAID 0+1, but I have a feeling that this may be purely on the Promise controller, which support 2x S-ATA + 1x DMA133 channel (i.e. 2 HDDs).
Can someone clarify?
