Can anyone with IE10 see if they can login to this site?

I used to be able to login just fine when I was using IE9

now I can't when I login the page just reloads at the same login page

can anyone tell me if there's any trick to make it work the compatibility button also disappears on this page so I can't run it in compatibility mode

This is forcing IE into compatibility mode (which is why you don't see the button).

yup, that's what i'm talking about.

it works fine on IE 9 though and also works on Chrome and Firefox

I know this is purely due to bad coding from the webmuppet of the site, but it would be nice to be able to find a way around this

So you must have SCRIPTS ENABLED on IE10 for it to work.. (Well on any browser)

oh, Active Scripting WAS already enabled and it doesn't work on IE 10

there is no compatibility mode button on that page either the button disappears when I visit that page.

Try putting the site into the TRUSTED SITE zone and see if it works then!


INTERNET OPTIONS/SECURITY/TRUSTED SITES and then click the button @ the top to add that domain in..... Then try it..

IE10 is now so secure, it's too secure! MS should tout that as a nice new feature. Maybe the masses will get off of Facebook if they can't login any more, and back out to nature or something.

That would be a nice way for MS to hose Facebook and Google, by "oops, it's a bug", and not letting users fully use their sites.

Yea its not allowing him to have scripts on that page AND I DONT KNOW WHY!!!


EDIT:

I tried one more thing i thought MIGHT BE THE ANSWER and it is!!!

Its not IE10 its that site!!

I changed my user agent to make it look like I was on IE10 AND I COULD NOT LOGIN!! (It kept redirecting back to the login screen)


So Berryracer if you change your User agent to look like IE9 it should work!!

I changed the user agent to IE10 compatibility mode and now I was able to login!

it's a shame u can't change the user agent for that site only though.

changing the user agent this way changes the user agent globally for all sites

Thank you CorkyG,i wasnt sure how to advise him to go about changing his UA,i was hopefull someone would come along and supply an easy method! (My method might not be easy for him,etc)
