Can anyone verify that E4300 will POST with F6 BIOS?

Gigabyte's website mentions you need F7 BIOS for E4300, but I'm wondering if you can at least post with an F6 or earlier version of the BIOS, seeing how many of us do not have extra socket 775 cpu's laying around.
