i am trying to video a movie with a clip that represents empowerment, but i cant think of any.

I was thinking more along the lines of when Michael Corleone shoots the two bad guys in the head in that Italian restaurant. Pow!

there is a scene where the chick is getting her ass kicked by a guy who intends to eventually kill her.

of course, she manages to kill him instead.

empowerment is kind of ambiguous

the matrix (flying, stopping bullets)
the animatrix (the first robot to kill a human)
shawshank redemption (prison break and beach scene)

A Knights Tale is a good example. True to the definition, and if you need a short clip, or a series of short clips to tell the story, you can probably take about 3 minutes worth of them to get the point across.
