that early??? i thought it was in the 1900's.. and what effect did it have on us.. like violence, sex, blab blab blab
 
The TV was invented in 1925 by John Logie Baird.. and the first comercial was played in 1930.. now how has it influenced it since..
 
thanks plant.. can anyone tell me the effects of tv on society?? like Tv dinners.. balb blab blab violence, more murders.. i need some hard core facets and numbers
 

You should note that in 1936, to prove the advance Germany had over other countries, Hitler made the first TV emission on long range (I think at tens-hundreds kilometers). Remeber, the US atomists (who created the first nuke) came from Germany, Italy and Swiss
 
TV impacted everything
I'll give a few broad examples you might could run with.
It homogenized the American society (much like the rest of the world) by spawning "pop culture".
It revolutionized politics because no longer did people vote strictly by party lines. It increased the moderate pool who would be swayed by the charisma of the would be presidents.
I could think of some more...but its late, and I'm tired.
