Can anyone tell me what this thing is capable of?

Cisco FastHub 116C

I'm gettin' it for $5, but I'm curious what it's capable of.

Class II Fast Ethernet repeater

What does Class II mean?

From what I can tell it's just a 16 port 100BaseT hub, with fiber connectivity... Right?

"Fast Ethernet Hubs Class I and Class II:
The Class I and Class II hub designations only apply to Fast Ethernet hubs and repeaters. The most basic differences between the two are, Class I repeaters cannot be cascaded. Class I means one hub per segment unless the devices are stackable or interconnected via a switch or a router. Class II repeaters can be cascaded, but only two units deep. A maximum of 5 meters distance is allowed between the two hubs. Class II means two hubs per segment unless the devices are stackable or interconnected via a switch or a router. Class I and Class II hubs cannot be connected to each other."
