i just dont know how to do it, or its not working right, anyone know how? i put the diskette in the a drive, load the msdos black screen, and install it to disk a, nothing happens. thanks

All you need to do is run the exe which puts the boot image onto the floppy. Then set your computer to boot from a floppy in your BIOS and it should work.

Most likely it did work. Once it writes the data to disk, it will NOT be readable from windows. It's normal to get the "this disk needs to be formatted" (or whatever it says) message. It is only readable when you boot from it.

that being said, i think it's better to make a memtest cd rather than a floppy. they have the .iso on their website.

who uses floppies anymore? out of the 5 systems that i own only one has a floppy and thats a fluke...
