Basically Reposado is the middle child - aged 2 months to 1 year. Añejo tequilas are > 1 year. Blanco's are the baby - unaged. I prefer the Añejo's because they tend to be smoother, but also more $$. Quite a range in prices on tequilas. It depends on how you're going to drink it. If you're mixing margaritas or other drinks, the brand doesn't matter as much. If you're doing shots for a quick buzz, they all get you there but the more expensive ones don't hurt you the next morning. Premiums are meant to be sipped (do you really wanna shoot a $12 shot of tequila?)
Añejos ($50+):
Don Julio
Patron
Del Dueño
Reposados($20-40):
Herradura
Cabo Wabo
Cazadores
