Can anyone tell me anything about this Nextel Phone....

The i860, How is this phone in terms of battery life, and usuability, anyone have trouble getting reception with this phone?

Anyone other small/compact nextel phone you would recommend?

I have the i860 and overall it's a nice phone.

Battery life is ok, although it could be better.
The features are great.
Reception is not all that great, but I get bad service from all providers in may area.

I have an i830 my wife has an i860. The 830 and the 860 are pretty much the same except fpr the 860's built in camera. Nextels are notorious for short battery life. A charge will only last one day if you use it a lot.

We both love the size though. They are very small and easy to use but they are also very delicate.

As for as reception, if you are in an area the Nextel services the reception is spectacular. Check with your Nextel dealer about your local coverage area.
