Can anyone say that LeBron James is overrated?

even Shaq says he is a great player, and the future of the game.

MVP of last nights all star game, credited with fueling the team to make the comeback, was leaned on, and is only 21...

any doubters now?

ive always been impressed with him. not a big basketball fan, but can see hes a great talent. has a good level head on his shoulders and isnt too full of himself.

He is really good and has potential to be the best ever, but he lacks that one characteristic that seperates him from MJ. He doesn't have that killer instinct. MJ took everything personal, and had ice in his veins at the end of the game. Maybe it will come with age.

That is pretty true. MJ was a total competitor. I am not sure if LeBron has that edge, but talent wise and potential, he has the ability to outshine MJ. Not likely though.

That's a very good point. MJ was always competitive to his credit and discredit. I don't think there's really any NBA players at this point that nearly has that same sort of "killer instinct" and competitive drive MJ had. That's how he was able to take his game to a whole other level. Lebron isn't much of a clutch player right now, but that will develop with experience. Is Lebron talented? Yes. He may or may not more talented than MJ, but we'll just have to wait and see.

I think he was overrated in his first year and most of last year. He has really gone to another level since about midway through last year and all throughout this year.

hes one of the best team leaders out there, and will try his best to help lead the team no matter what, he doesnt have a COMPLETE killer instinct, but he has a killer instinct

no, he is nothing when compared to kobe. that bastardo is way overrated.

Yet Kobe is 27 years old. Lebron is a better player than Kobe was at Lebron's age. If Lebron had Shaq in his prime, they would've won championships as well. Lebron needs to work on his defense & right now Lebron isn't a clutch player but he isn't overrated.

lebron is not overrated. I'm a huge Kobe fan, but I also admire Lebron James. He's still young, and in time, will probably develop that kill-everyone-mode that Kobe now has.

Kobe, Lebron, and Amare will most likely lead the NBA in this generation of stars. All three are friggin awesome to watch, especially Amare. He just goes into the paint, not caring what will happen to him.

I can't wait until Lebron has a killer instinct. A solid team w/ Lebron will have the potential to be crazy. Lebron has the ability now to make extremely good passes. He has solid judgement. He's still 21. Imagine when he's 27, 28. He'll probably be insane by then.

Donno, he should develop a crazy midrange jumper like Kobe has. Once Kobe goes on fire, and turns it up, there's no stopping Kobe. Kobe's also known for insane clutch.
