Can anyone recommend some good multiplayer (co-op) action-RPG games?

I've been looking for a game like this, I guess gauntlet style games are good for this but I'd like just a bit more rpg. And of course I'm not a big fan of the perspective used. Doesn't matter if the game is a bit old either.

Diablo 2 is good fun though it uses an isometric camera.

Neverwinter Nights was fun too in coop. The official campaigns have quite a lot of storyline to balance the action, but there's gobs of user created modules you can download.

It's not a "traditional" RPG, but what about X-men Legends II? It's got a good multiplayer mode, and although the view is isometric, it can be rotated 360 degrees as needed.

I don't know if Guild Wars would fit into the "action-RPG" genre, but it certainly has co-op multiplayer since it's online only (no monthly fee) and has plenty of cooperative missions. Also, you can have either 1st or 3rd person perspective depending on how far you have your camera zoomed in.

Serious Sam has coop in a FPS but IMO it's pretty boring after a short time (kill, die, respawn, repeat). The Rogue Spear series has decent coop mulitplayer but the AI is kinda dumb and makes up for it by cheating. :p I believe Swat 4 has coop multiplayer as well but I haven't tried it.

Guild Wars is an excellent MMORPG with great graphics. Unfortunately, the characters are capped at level 20 and the missions get a little bit boring once you're well into the game. Still, considering it's *HUGE* and the online play is free I'd highly recommend it.

I read that the new "Brothers in Arms: Earned in Blood" has coop multiplayer but I haven't tried it either. If anyone has please report back and tell us about it.
