Can anyone recommend me a 'cooler-running' CRT monitor?

Aiight here's the deal. My ancient Sony Trinitron, while great, generates mucho heat. I am hoping that in the past couple of years monitors have become more power-efficient, requiring less wattage and therefore generating less heat (not just EnergyStar compliant, but power-efficient while they're being used too!) The reason why I'm looking into this is that my room is pretty hot as it is (A/C just doesn't find its way to my corner of the house?) and my DEC Alpha generates enough heat as it is.

The obvious solution is to buy an LCD monitor. However, I do not want to settle for a 15" LCD (I really want a 19" CRT) and 17" LCDs are still too expensive (yes $659 for that Planar is still too expensive...I'm in the less-than-$400 budget range.) But where will I find ratings for how much heat a monitor produces? Can anyone recommend monitors that are designed to be energy efficient and produce less heat (would you know of any from personal experience?)
