I need a battery backup thing for my computer. My old one got fried somehow (Belkin) and now i need a new one. I should of gotten one sooner but it took a lost paper (power skip) to make me buy a new one. I need recommendations on a good one. Something that will keep my puter (no monitor or speakers) running for about 5-10 mins with no power. Please tell me brand and model # on products that you use... thanks.
 
I have used APC UPSs for quite a few years, at home and at work. I have always been happy with their performance. Oddly enough, I just posted this link in another thread so I will pass along here as well. APC has a "selector" which asks you details about your system then recommends what model would be appropriate. Give it a look here.
