Can anyone recommend a good, portable laptop stand?

I typically work from cafes -- starbucks, etc. -- and today was especially productive. I think it's because someone left a book on the table I've been working on, and I put it under my laptop to raise it up about 4-5 inches. I'm more comfortable, not looking down all day, and therefore way more productive... the monitor is almost at eye height.

Does anyone carry around some sort of laptop stand that fits in their backpack and is relatively light-weight? If so, I might pick one up. The ones on Amazon all looked super expensive OR super heavy. I could always just stick to finding a book wherever I am :)

Thanks for any advice!

You could take your own book. Why pollute the world with more Chinese crap when you already have a solution.

What if you just pack your backpack differently or get a different backpack and use it as the stand?

Can you still access the keyboard with this one, or do you need an external one? It looks high. Do you carry it in your backpack?

Yes you can. It's height adjustable, which is useful. But it doesn't feel as stable as that aluminum stand.

Yes, I carry in my backpack.

Apparently, Roost on their website is offering it for 15% off right now with this code: get15off
