can anyone recommend a good mb and video card for an athlon 1gz?

I'm building a computer and I have an Athlon 1gigz chip right now, I was wondering what motherboard you guys recommend? Also what decent video card, around the price range of a gf2 MX 64mb

for mobo, either get Epox or MSI.

for video card, At least get a GF2 GTS. Do not get MX.

oh wait, around the price range of MX?
ok, got for Radeon LE, (about $70). then flash it to work like a full version Radeon. It will out perform MX cards.

Good question, that is the processor I am going to be using in my next rig.

3d card, I'm leaning towards a Geforce2 Pro 32mb. Something around the $150 range.

Motherboard, I'm not quite sure yet. Still learning and reading up on them, don't know enough to make a knowledgable pick.

On the Motherboard check out Abit or Asus. They always have the best Motherboards.
I use Abit myself, they are jumperless and real easy to overclock.

I would go with an ABIT KT7A RAID or Non RAID, then you can upgrade to a 266mhz chip if you want to, and get a geforce 2 gts pro, there in the price range now.

hey Unicron...you can get a GeForce2 Pro 32mb for 132...for 150, you can get 64mb 🙂
