Can anyone recommend a good ANKLE BRACE?

i sprained my ankle, and now that it's healed, i wanted to buy ankle braces for basketball and volleyball.

Is something like this good?

So sad...sprained my ankle Easter weekend. Hasn't healed..and was told it probably never will. I would've been so much better off breaking it that weekend. But now my ankle's stretched beyond repair..

Sigh..it's my right ankle too. You can't possibly imagine how much of a strain driving puts on the poor thing. Stupid dark deck steps that made me fall and sprain it.

ankles suck.

i've torn ligaments, minute fracture and severe sprains on both .. hahaha .. i love sports.

you prolly want something a bit less stiff than that. Get an Ace Bandage and wrap your ankle. Better support. Depending on the way you sprained your ankle, you can wrap it the way it would make you feel safer. If you feel safer mentally, you are less likely to hurt it more.

I have a similar one close to that..bought it at Big5 for $25. It works pretty well...You'll need to wear long socks otherwise it'll break ur skin near the top if you tie it too tight.

I just turned my ankle this weekend playing basketball...I didn't wear my ankle brace because i didn't like to be restricted too much...sigh...
