Can anyone recommend a good 3rd party multi-monitor software?

There's the software that comes with your video card? Ex) ATI's Catalyst Control Center

well, i've got nvidia's control center but it's a little wonky when it comes to the resolution settings. if my main monitor is, say, 1000x500, it forces the 2nd monitor to display the same resolution. i can't independently change the 2nd monitor's resolution. i should also add that i just want to 'clone' the monitors. in other words, both monitors are displaying one desktop.

if one monitor displays x X y resolution, then other should also be of the same i guess?

You can't really call it a clone if they aren't both the same resolution. What exactly did you want to do with it?

i want to be able to clone them, but the problem is that they're both different resolutions. i was hoping that there was a tool/utility i could use to clone them with the ability to adjust the resolution of each monitor.

Ultramon for 2 monitors. For a software style KVM i would recommend synergy.
