can anyone reccomend a good hardware IDE ATA100 raid card?

I 'm looking for a hardware based ide raid card but so far haven't found any that do ata100. 3ware will do ata66
does anyone know of a ata 100 RAID card?

Why not pick up one of the MSI Pro 266R motherboards coming out... hee hee. :)

Has the raid control built right into the new board, and supports the ATA100. AND it will take SDRAM or DDR!

(sorry.. I just can't wait for it to hit the streets) :)

as far as i know, the only hardware ide raid card is the adaptec one, but it only does ata66

according to 3ware theirsis hardware too, but they and adaptec were all I came up with also :(

There are the two I can remember:

Promise FastTrak100 - I've heard that this is the best IDE RAID card currently on the market.

Abit Hot Rod 100 - Read a review of this once, and the performance was very good.....not to mention the fact that you can find it for less than $40 on pricewatch.

yes but from what i've heard these aren't hardware based. I want hardware based b/c this is going iin a linux system
still i'm going to check them out
