Can anyone reccomend a good freeware faxing program?

Im looking for a fax program that is fairly simple to use. This will be used on my sister's machine since I no longer have my copy of winfax and I was hoping there might be a good freeware alternative.

You don't like the windows fax software that comes with xp?

Most hardware modems come with a simple fax S/W package.

WinXP comes with fax software.

no I dont like the one that comes with XP and these modems are oldies but goodies - sportster 56K externals, therefore whatever software that came with them no longer exists.

SmithMicro had a simple package that came with some of my motherboards and PCI modems. You might try to see if you can get a copy.

Or breakdown and buy a PCI modem that comes with a Fax S/W package.
