I'm planning on getting a job as tech support and this is the first resume I've written. Would anyone care to look it over and give me any pointers as to how to improve it? I would really appreciate it, thank you.

Note: I'm also going to work at Goodwill part time as part of my community service, so that will be added shortly

Okay, my credentials. :) I've been a tech recruiter for a couple of years so I've seen a couple thousand resumes. Good job. Try using bullets, it cleans up the format a little and makes it easy to read. Some of your interests are a little off topic, try to stay relevant. Typing speed at... should just be typing speed: You've got some extra space after Microsoft Office (only matters if you're sending an electronic copy of the resume, irrelevant if hard copy) Waterloo Math Contest should be capitalized.

Nice resume. Good luck! :)

Monel: your parody of my resume is hauntingly accurate! The fight with the 6th grader wasn't fair though, he used a broom :p
Thanks for your helpful(?) reply :D

Is that the Pascal? I came fourth when I was in grade 8. Then won it in grade 9. Never thought to put it on my resume though. Maybe that's why the job offers aren't rolling in... ;)

But seriously, I used the MS Word template to help me do mine. Have you considered that?

Hehe yeah, I thought of everything I could to put on my resume considering my lack of actual job experience

Yeah, I didn't like the particular templates they provided. Plus, the majority of people are probably already using those, so I decided to do something a little different
