Aw man, I searched NV200 before posting this and it didn't look right. Glad to know I was at least close. It just "looked" like a Nissan to me.

It has nothing to do with Nissan. It actually looks a lot like a Honda Element modified to look like those London cabs, but it's basically some weird one off that will be built by AM General (the Hummer OEM) and cobbled together from a bunch of parts bins (engine and transmission from the Ford Crown Vic, Camaro rear end). If the CNG version gets similar or better fuel economy as the gasoline version, then even the $9000 premium could be made up pretty quickly in one of these (since taxis average a good 50k miles per year) if the cost differential is as high as that article states (~$2).
