Hey everyone,

I was doing some cleanout at work today and found some memory chips and I'm not exactly sure what kind of memory it is or what it is for, can anyone identify these?

Hmm, they say 1991 on them, there's one notch, and the notch is like in the middle of the sticks. If the sticks aren't very long, I'd say they're probably some type of SIMMs (EDO, FPM, etc).

I thought that at first as well but they also say "flash" on the chips so I'm starting to think maybee they go in a router?

These are probably flash upgrade modules for USR modem banks, e.g. the ones ISPs would buy if they had a rack of modems that support X standard but the new flash modules support Y standard. At the time, it was a simple way of fighting off obsolesence.
