Found this coin and was wondering it's origin.

Notes:

* If I had to take an (un)educated guess I would say it is Japanese. But I am no expert on written languages, especially non-Latin ones.

* From it's slight dimensions, weight, texture it seems more like an arcade token than anything. But I'm certainly no expert in currency sciences.

Any help on identifying/translating it?

Most certainly not a coin - not enough language on it (it would contain the name of the country, a denomination, some other legends). A token of some kind. Hopefully someone can interpret what's on it.

It says paradaisu (paradise).

Looks like a typical game center token, not sure if you are going to be able to find anything more specific.

パラダイス = pa ra dai su = paradise (but they also have their own word for paradise. Looks like a token to me. Haven't seen real Japanese money use katakana before. Usually it's kanji.

Still a cool thing to have. I used to carry a token that said "Freedom" on one side, and "No Cash Value" on the other. That's a wining motto if I ever saw one :^)
