In regards to a watch I am interested in, there is the following:

Jahre, läuft, aber sollte gereinigt werden (Uhr wurde länger nicht getragen).

What does this say? I tried babelfish, but it came up with unintelligible gibberish.

my german isn't great, but what i translated it doesn't make sense

Year, works, but should be cleaned, clock became longer not carried
