It could be your network card... believe it or not, 99% of my problems with dialpad is related to my NICs (laggy calls, java window not opening correctly, spontaneous reboot of my computer when the java window closes, etc). My current NIC (my 3rd NIC in this computer) runs everything perfect (3com).

And yes thereds, dialpad has been working the last few days for me.

thereds, did you read the FAQ? it looks like firewall is gettin in the way... i am probably wrong, but i had that happened to me back in my high school and the high nosed bastard who works in the computer office would keep lying about the port being opened so i had given up for the time being... what kinda connection do you have there?

Running W2K Pro, SP2, behind Zone Alarm and a NetGear RT314 Gateway Router, and Dialpad always connects and works without a hitch.

thereds, turn off/on echo suppression in the dialpad audio options - it usually fixes the problem for me.
