I'm supposed to find the volume of the solid bounded by the cylinders x^2 + y^2 = r^2 and y^2 + z^2 = r^2

no clue where to start

any help would be appreciated

i am pretty sure what you have to do is find where they intersect, then integrate through those values.

meh, it's been 3 years, bump for you.

Those equations look like they create a sphere if you look at where they intersect.

Edit--
Now I'm second guessing myself. Well, it really doesn't matter what it looks like. Just find out the edges where they intersect and do either a double or triple integration, depending on which equation you use.
