I just bought this board on the FS/FT forum. hooked it up today and keep getting these alternating alarm sounds from the system speaker. But the system boots and runs fine except I have to disconnect the speaker to get rid of those d*mn alarms.
Things I have tried and checked:
Tried three different slot A cpu's overclocked and stock.
checked all jumpers I could find and or read about
Checked all the bios settings to see if anywhere to disable
Flashed to latest bios
cleared cmos several times with each cpu test
minimal hardware installed for testing, no sound,no nic,only one PCI video card and crucial memory
I have tested all these CPU's in my Abit kA7 and they work just fine,any solutions or thoughts would be greatly appreciated
