In a previous thread I mentioned that my insurance company was paying for damage done to my vehicle.

There are two distinct areas of damage (separated by about a foot), but both were caused by the same accident. The insurance company says "those are not from the same accident. You'll have to file a separate claim (and pay another $200 deductible) to get it fixed".

Their website says they are regulated by the Manitoba Public Insurance Corporation Act.

I just want to read through it and try to find what they define an accident as.

I asked them (as an example) if someone hit my car, then freaked out and drove away and hit the car a 2nd time as they were leaving if I would have to file 2 separate claims and they say yes. I say that's assinine.

Can anyone help me read through this long ass document?
