I have a socketA 1 ghz Copper T-Bird, PC150mhz Mushkin HSDRAM, Sparkle 300w power supply, Abit KT7-Raid mobo, 2 Sunon 40 cfm case fans, Alpha Pal6035 Ultra HSF with Delta Black Label 38cfm cpu fan and Artic Silver thermal paste with an Elsa Gladiac Geforce 2 GTS.at present, my system temperature is 26 degrees Celsius and cpu is 30 degrees Celsius (78 deg F and 86 Deg F respectively).
I have been able to overclock (done by pencil method) the cpu to 1.150 ghz stable and play Quake3. I have been able to get it all the way into windows at 1.200 ghz but when I move the mouse it locks up. What i have been doing is setting the cpu multiplier to 11.0 or 11.5, then increase the core voltage from 1.75v to 1.85v.
Can anyone help me get beyond where i am at? I relaize alot of people are just trying to get to 1 ghz, but that is my starting point. I want to go farther.
please help.

you may need 2volts to pull that off.... check out amdzone.com i think there is a mod for your board.... i used the mod on my friends a7v and got him from 900- 1050 at 2.0 volts .... 45c-55c full load .... good luck

The big breakthrough that got my slot A Tbird 900 stable at 1100 was to drop IO voltage to 3.3v from 3.4v. Core voltage is at 1.85v.
