Can anyone help me fix my Linksys wireless bridge?

Alright, I'll go ahead and explain my situation. I'm not all that great with computers, otherwise I would have figured out a way to fix this on my own so I'm turning to you guys. Linksys customer support sucks..I've called them twice and they didn't do anything to help me out.

I got a Linksys WET11 wireless bridge for my laptop/ps2/xbox sometime in January. It worked without a problem for about 4 months, when one day the connection just went out and I basically haven't been able to use it since then. I tried calling Linksys for the first time and they ended up telling me that my laptop's ethernet card was messed up and that was causing the problems. I thought that seemed a little weird since I got the "A Local Area Network connection is now plugged in" message whenever I plugged in the bridge, so my computer seemed to be recognizing it was there. In addition to that, the bridge wouldn't work on my Playstation 2 or Xbox either so I was really doubting that it was a problem my laptop was causing.

I called them a second time a while after that and talked to someone else, they ended up telling me that the bridge was just defective since it wasn't getting any reception from my wireless router (I have a Linksys wireless access point router that is used with my main PC) and that I should just get another one. So I did that and yet it still won't work. I tried to install the settings from the CD into my laptop but it says it can't detect the bridge on my laptop.

Is my laptop's card causing these problems or did the settings of my router just get messed up somehow and that's the reason I'm not getting any reception from it? If anyone has any suggestions of what to do or what might be causing the problems, please let me know. Thanks.

I'd suggest posting the config of your laptop and WET11 for others to see.

To get into the WET11 config page, browse to http://192.168.1.225, use no login and "admin" as the password.
