Can anyone help me find a picture with a GT and a GTX matched next to each other?

He is getting a particular mobo and he said he saw a review saying that an evga GTX would not fit at all in the case because of the IDE connectors. Now I only have a Evga GT and not a Evga GTX so I don't know if the Evga GTX is bigger or not.

Also he has not gave me the money to ordered the parts yet, so he wants to make sure the Evga GT will fit nice and good.


IS the Evga GTX longer? <not KO edition

The GT is about an inch shorter than the GTX.

also, google is useless lol, the only site Ican find that compares cards sizes is firing squad. but because my luck Fs only compares thew BFG 7800GT and the reference GTX. I nee to find a Evga 7800gt and a evga 7800GTX right next to each other but I found nothing.

In terms of length, all the GTXes are all the same size as the reference cards. As fas as I can tell, the only difference between the various different brands is the cooling solution and the BIOS. The PCB is the same.

from the pic, the 7800 looks to be an inch shorter than the gtx and about half an inch more than the 6800gt

jus look at the scale

the HSF on the GT is shorter and fatter, there isnt as much circuitry going on at the end either.
