It's a site for my friend's drumming / music work.

EDIT 5/18:

Okay, did some major updates, added media section, added photo section, and worked on the bg image a bit:

sharpened nav text, changed skin tone from I'm-the-devil-red to hire-me-orange, darkened brick wall background, added flashier style to title, added .com to title.

I would atleast make the image more abstract or something, make it harder to distinguish, I don't know, but the eyes kind of scare me. Abstracting the image with some photoshop type filters might make the eyes stand out less. Otherwise, I think you have done a great job, although the navigation buttons are blurry on my computer. I think the layout looks good.

Thanks... I'll try something like that. I also want to give it more contrast (looks fine on my LCD at home, but in reality it's way too bright of a black.

His eyes are scary? Hmm... maybe it'd be less scary if his image had a more natural skintone, instead of the satanic red skin / black eyes combo?

Also, make it so that it isn't so blocky. Make the boarder fade into the backgroud more. Maybe with a little grundge brushing.

Looks alright to me.

The nav buttons are a little blurry on my 17' CRT too.

The eye's seem OK to me.

Blocky, like the border of the bg image should be a smoother fade to the page's background color?

Nav buttons look a bit blurry to me too I'll try a higher quality jpeg tonight.

your fonts don't blend together. i like the title font but the text looks out of place. just imo

We were going for a not-too-messy graffiti look with the title. Got any suggestions for a better match for the body font, nav font, or title font; or a combo for all three?
