Can anyone get NBA Live 2k1 to work in win2k?

I have tried many things but it never works. All it does is show the start up EA logo and then fall back to the windows desktop?
 
i couldn't get it to work either. i think its pretty poor that a company as big as EA cant make their games NT/2K compatible.
