Can anyone get me a copy of Windows 98 and windows 98se User32.dll files?

hmm, i didn't think i was asking for a free OS. as it's only the user32.dll. i have a licensed CD and i can reinstall the OS, this would just save me a couple hours of work. but if the mods don't like this type of post, i have no problems with them deleting it.

Thats dll hole to you sir and the topic title certainly seemed to be asking for the win98 OS in addition to the file. In any case, the user32.dll is contained in the cab files on the disk you already have. Also, if the original 98 install was done in the default manner, the cabs are on the hard drive of the computer.

Search for *.cab
I'll see if I can find which one.

Got it. It's in the Win98_39.cab file. You can either use the SFC or extract tool.
Try in windows/options/cabs
