Can anyone find me that thread about some guy fitting a pci-e card

I'm pretty sure this thread wasn't on Anandtech...

but back when PCI-E first came out there was a good thread going around the internet about some guy who sawed off the end of his PCI-E card to make it fit in an AGP slot. He then couldn't figure out why it wasn't working. Anyone remember this? Can they find it for me?
