Well I suppose there's an outside chance someone could use it to set a PC up as a router... I might be going out on a limb there.

Maybe it could teach you the difference between the number 4 and the word "for."

Maybe for using regular x86 hardware as a dedicated router. :Q

It's not hard to do really. I've done it for DSL lines in the past, and if I was getting a dedicated personal T[13], I'd do it again.
