I built a computer for my friend. It worked perfectly at my house. When I changed the IP so it would work at his house [192.168.1.3 to 192.168.0.3 (I use a linksys router while he uses ICS from WinME)] he said that his internet would go on and off every couple of seconds. He said the only way his connection would work is if he played a song on winamp and kept it running. Can anyone explain this at all???

I tried switching it to different pci slots but that still didn't work. I also checked if his phoneline was working and it was. Also switching to different IP addresses didn't work either.
He said the other computers remain on the network fine but his is sparatic unless he opens up winamp and plays a song. I'll probably just format his c: drive and startover again, unless does anyone have a suggestion?
