can anyone burn with memorex 1622 under win2k?

i can't and ahve tried everything.

when i pop in blank media, adaptec cd creator (v4 and 3.5c) stops responding until i remove the media. It says media is unreadable. I've tried several types of media already.

it was working fine last week before in installed win2k.

I had it working for a little while but I too am now experiencing the same exact symptoms with my 1622. Glad, but sad, to see a trend.

I'm wondering if it was some update or something that's smitten me.
