Can anyone brighten this photo?

I wouldn't be asking if it wasn't for a good cause. We collected toys to donate to a local organization, but our group shot turned out to be very dark.
Can anything be salvaged from either of these shots?

Even playing with the histogram didn't work, the result comes out REALLY grainy. It is far to dark to get a decent image out of it, sorry.

Unless somebody knows something I don't...

EDIT: The others beat me to it, I didn't even bother saving the image...but that is pretty much the same result I came up with.
