i did an upgrade for a friend , well they gave me there old system for doing it . well this was a month or so back and i just got around to digging into it to see what was in there . well i pull the motherboard out and it is a asus p3v4x so i go to ebay to see what they are going for . i expected to see about 20-25$ at most . well i find that some sell as high as 100$ for the bare board with an average of about 50$ . anybody know why they are going for so much ?

I think its because 3 reasons.

1. They have no idea what there bidding on and what it would cost new.
2. They have friends bidding and bumping the price.
3. They cant find the board elsewhere.

i would have to agree for the most part for 1 or 2 items . but if you doa search there they all seem to be selling at a high price . theer are lots of oxygen bandits on ebay thats for sure but alot of stuff also sells cheap .

i was wondering if there was anything special about this board is all .
