Can anybody specifically pinpoint what's wrong with my computer?

For the past month, my computer has been acting very weird. I can't pin-point what is the actual cause of my problems, so i was hoping the geniuses of AT could help me out.

My computer constantly freezes, blue-screens, or reboots. The freezing will happen at any random time, but i've noticed it especially happens when I play a movie. My computer often times does not restart, or freezes at the first BIOS screen. Often times i have to unplug my computer a couple of times until it boots up right. :brokenheart:

Can anybody tell me what's going on? Thanks .

Run memtest or something to test your memory. See if your HD manufacturer has a drive test you can download. Check your event viewer for any errors.

sounds to me like a memory issue...

9x out of 10 if you're hanging on boot prior to hdd detection, it's memory...

make sure it's fully seated, and check the clock on your memory to make sure it's at factory settings.
