I Have 2 750watt electric motors 36v 27.1amp.

I would like to build a go cart out of these 2 motors and get the most speed possible.

What are your estimates in how much speed I can get out of both motors.
if i reach 36v 27.1amps. I was thinking of 6 12v 18amp Lead acid battery's 3 battery's for each motor.

My plan is one motor is on the rear left and the other is on the rear right

so both motors are powering 1 rear wheel.

How fast could that go.

Give me your Ideas or comments about this or which setup I should use with the two motors to get the most speed out of it. Thanks in advance

no there scooter motors

MY1020 36 Volt, 750 Watt, 2500 RPM, 27.4 Amp, permanent-magnet motor. 11 tooth sprocket for #25 chain. 12 gauge power leads.
Dimensions: 4-1/4" W x 5-1/2" L not including shaft. 4-1/2" W x 6-1/2" L including shaft.

measure rpm, and weather you want acceleration or top speed and weather you are willing to build a tranny for gearing. alos, how heavy will the frame be?

Motor pics?

Each one of those motors is capable of maybe 1HP. Combine with that 72lbs of batteries, the motors themselves and you = slow.

ya each motor is 1 hp so thats 2 hp plus batterys and then the frame then the electronics(controllers....)I am gessing with me off of it it will be 130-150LBS and 290-310 with me on. But that 2 motors.

and i may put all the batterys on its own little cart on wheels so all my g-cart has to do is pull the 72 pounds and me on it.

If not what elas can i use the motors for

A 1500watt scooter that is 238lbs(with out person) goes 31 mph at max speed

A 750 watt schooter that is 80LBS(with out person)goes 15ph at max speed

so I dont know with all the batterys on wheels speratly and the electronics and me onborad

so it will be 52-72lbs and with me on 212-232 with a 78 pound tow.

if i can get gearing good I can get to a good speed

How do you plan on making a frame, wheels, seat, steering, and suspension only weigh 52-72lbs? That seems very unlikely unless you have lots of aluminum and carbon fiber 😉

dont worrie there is a way any ways I will talk to a pro go cart and scooter builder and i'll see what he has to say but I dont knwo what I can do with these motors. I want to do somthing that can move me around or be of some good use and enjoyment.
