My 58" HP Pavilion DLP will accept and display a true 1080p signal, and I think the newest Sony SXRDs will too. Samsung's latest 2006 models might, but I don't know. I love my HP. :D

The Westinghouse 37 and their large one does.

Good buy for the money.

Oh and 720p vs. 1080p there is a difference but you need to be pretty close to see it. I play fear and oblivion at 720p and 1080p about 4 feet away and it?s pretty noticeable but if you back up it's not as noticeable. I use mine more as a monitor than a TV.

Yes, there are a number of them that do. Check out the most recent reviews of them from PCWorld Magazine. They did a pretty good job of it for asthetics as well as functions.

Watch out for the older (2005) Samsungs... they do take a 1080p input natively via HMDI or component even though they have 1080 lines of display resolution.

Totally depends on the TV, if it's capable of 1080p then it'll work fine, if not then it's not going to some how show 1080p resolution on a 1080i TV.

There's a number of models out now that support 1080p with plenty more coming out also.

Lazy arse, it's 2006 dammit. But I feel generous enough to provide you with this.
