can ANY digi-cam be used as a web-cam???

Hey ppl!!
windows XP recognises my friend's Olympus Camedia (dont know da model no..its 3.8Megapixels..) as a webcam...does dat mean if i hook up any digi-cam(still) to my pc,i can use it as a webcam?..
i'm really interested in the creative Card Cam 'coz its dirt cheap and it gives 1.3 MP....plz comment on it n lemme know if there r any other cheeeeep options!!..

fuji finepix 2650 can double as a webcam.

I have an older Finepix that can as well.
Seems like the Fuji's can. You could probably ask salesman/check specs to see if it can. Always worth doing homework.

EDIT: On the box it might say something like (for my camera): "PC camera mode for internet conferencing" (webcam basically)

not, not all cams can be used as a webcam...at least not out of the box...maybe there is some software you could use....let me do some digging and I will see
