Can Any Brandname PCs Be Overclocked

A friend of mine is considering buying an EMachine with an Athlon64 3400+. Can any of these brand name PCs be overclocked?

No, the BIOS options are locked. You have to be very, very, very lucky to find a brand-name PC that carries a motherboard that could be bought by your average PC-builder (DIY-builders, I mean). If that would be the case, you could do a BIOS-update and go on your merry way, but I wouldn't count on it.
