I have an Asus A8N32 Motherboard with Realtek ALC850. Does it make since to upgrade to a sound card, with the Logitech z5300 analog input speakers?

If I want Dolby or DTS, do I need different speakers?

Is there anyway I can get a good sound card that will work well with my current speakers that would be a significant improvement over the ALC850's?

You'll need to have your soundcard decode the DD / DTS stream and output in analog.

Your integrated sound should be able to do this. What program are you using to watch your DVDs?

You could get a soundcard if you wanted to, but your integrated solution should be able to do this as well.
