Can an old AK70 board handle a Athlon XP 2100+?

I am working on upgrading my current PC in stages, and wondered if I could start by sticking an Athlon XP 2100+ Thoroughbred into my current motherboard. The mobo is slot A, but since it is so old I fear some sort of problem.

Processor in Question

Motherboard is a DFI AK70 Rev A+ board (AMD 750 chipset). Its the 4th board down on this page:
The board

Thanks

Feel free to point and laugh at my incompetence. I am.
I was trying not to come off too sarcastic with my answer. There are others who would have been very harsh.
