Can an Exchange Server tell me what version of outlook users are running?

I help manage exchange, on 2010 right now. I don't think so. An exchange mailbox can be accessed not just with outlook, so I don't think statistics are kept on what is used to access the mailbox. I could be wrong, but I doubt it. Most people will use some type app to scan the network for certain apps installed. I am sure there are some free tools out there as well for this purpose.

I dont see it either, i remember in old 2003, you have a who's connected status screen that has that info.. not in 07 or 10.
