Can an egg from an ovary go into the opposite fallopian tube?

Say if a woman has her left ovary removed and right fallopian tube removed because of a medical complication. But she still has her right ovary and left fallopian tube. Is there a chance that the egg from the right ovary can go into the left fallopian tube?

I can never see that happening. That's like going in for surgery on my right hand, the doctor making a mistake, and they have to remove my left foot.

For some reason I keep thinking of someone holding the poor woman on her side and shaking her.

Also, you shouldn't have sex with a pregnant woman or else you could make her baby pregnant.
