Can an Athlon 64 / P4 heatsink be mounted on an Athlon XP3200+?

I ordered a vga cooler and the company sent me a more expensive Thermaltake Fanless103 CL-P0019 CPU cooler. I have an Asus A7N8X-E Deluxe motherboard and an Athlon XP 3200+. The heatsink is designed for P4/K8 motherboards and has the screw on heatsink base. I was wondering if there is a conversion for 64 to XP heatsinks or any other way. I hope this is possible so I can keep this and not have to deal with returning and exchanging online.

If not then I have a brand new Thermaltake Fanless103 CL-P0019 for sale. $35 + $7 FedEx shipping.

Its not designed to work on an Athlon xp, so making it fit would be a huge job. It'd be much quicker, cheaper, and easier to just send it back and get the right thing.
